7 Ways to Keep Mosquitoes Away From Your Pool

Mosquitoes are one of the worst things in your pool, which harmful to your health condition. They are little bugs and carry life-threatening diseases such as the Zika virus and West Nile virus. They come certainly and bit you, but you can focus after a long-time. Mosquitoes come to your pool because they love water, humidity, and wet place which your pool have available. If you commercially use the pool, you need to kill the mosquitoes and take a permanent step.

1. Dump the standing water

Well, you may know that most of the mosquitoes are born on standing water. Inspect your yard after rain, and you may surprise when you find the place of water lingers. The mosquitoes grow from eggs to biters in one or two weeks, but the eggs still wait for the month to grow the mosquitoes. Turn over the buckets and recycle old tires and fill out your area where your area stays dump.

After cleaning the dump, you can ensure that the mosquito’s eggs are killed and the dump never full-fill with water. So, if you find any standing water, you need to dump it so that the mosquitoes are not grown up and bit you and your family members.

2. Don’t forget to use a pool cover

When you think your pool is not used for a long time, you need to cover your pool to avoid the mosquitoes. Though it is hard enough to cover the pool fully, this method helps you keep safe from mosquitoes. Of course, you don’t want to pull out your safety cover every time you get out of the pool. 3. Keep up with landscaping

However, mosquitoes love piles of soggy leaves, tall, rotting logs, and wet grass. Mows your grass regularly, and if possible, try to spray some chemicals on your grass. 4. Fill the hole of the tree

Most of the people do not repair the septic tank, which is harmful. So, if you find your septic tank worst enough, you need to repair it.

6. Clean the pool side

The pool sides are always wet, which is the love side of mosquitoes. Well, clean means cut the grass, dry the ground, and always clean. If you try it perfectly, the mosquitoes never lay their eggs, and you can keep your pool safe. So, you need to clean the pools regularly and keep the poolside dry and wet-free.
